I was so excited, after many years with many different therapists, I was finally diagnosed with something that actually had a name. I went about explaining my unique and mysterious ailment to anyone who would listen. Little did I know that it would be forever used against me. Now all who know and as the grapevine goes there are not many who don't, dismiss me as the truly crazy person who can't be trusted even though I have functioned normally all my life. Well, mostly normal anyway. Bottom line.........................keep your mouth shut PERIOD Amen, sister! If so, that's what I'd like to be called. "Eccentric old lady" is so much nicer than "crazy old lady". Is “eccentric” a diagnosis?
